Default How to torque the TRE lock nut...

After I replaced my TRE, I simply used my best judgement to tighten the lock nut to what I believe the torque specs are (30 lb/ft). Is there a specialized torque wrench that allows one to torque such a nut?

The torque wrench I have doesn't work as it is intended for use with socket nuts.

Use a crows foot socket on your torque wrench, or just let your alignment guy do it.

Default If I do that... do I have to be concerned about any

changes in torque values because the torque wrench is connected to the crow socket (e.g. increased or decreased torque, etc).

Default Torque by Feel. Seriously, I believe in torque wrenches, but for this one, just tighten

the snot out of it (not too much, though) and you'll be good : )

Default Yes. If the crows foot is straight in line with the torque wrench it adds

torque as it just got longer. If it is at a 90 deg angle it is the same value.
