Default I am I the only one like this .....

On friday I found out that I had recieved a long awaited promotion and nice raise in pay. During the rest of the meeting with my boss I could only think about running out and trading the A6 on an A8.

I couldnt help but think how to spend this new found wealth on a new Audi. Well and maybe a small gift for the wife.

But then I came to my sences and realized I would miss all you guys in that stuffy A8 forum, so I guess I will stick it out in the 3.Slow for a few more months. :-D

Default I stop by this board every once in awhile :)

Just turned over 2k in my A8 - I've finally given up the "old lady" driving and have discovered how much fun it is to drive in sport mode Randy might send me back to work - I seem to be visiting the gas station more often these days...

Default The A8 forum is stuffy? I would say we are well informed!

It's funny, but I see the A8 forum as more of a technical forum.....I like it!

Default I used to be on a V8q forum for my last Audi. It was way more tech oriented than this one.

The majority of the posts were how do you fix this or troubleshoot that rather than "hey, check out my new 19" wheels". I think the A6, and even to a point, that the A8s are still too new and don't have a lot of owners yet willing to keep the cars running on their own without help from shops/dealers.
