Audi RS2, as others said, engine was built by Audi, but turbocharged and tuned by Porsche. Make that a turbo straight 5 with 315hp and 300 lb/ft of torque mated to a 6 speed.

Quite a few made it to England in both RHD and LHD form.

Amzing cars - one of my clients has one...... heavily tuned..
Thing has the biggest brakes I've ever seen - 15.5 8 pots in the fron and like 14's in the rear with beautiful HRE's..... he's running about 420 HP, or so 2Bennett claims....
I also saw one for sale in S. Africa last month.... only asking 245,000 rand with 98kilos on it....just a minor problem with the wheel placement.....
it would be high on my list of dream cars....
