Many of you have probably forgetten, but I am still having the issues that started with my car since the end of August. I was supposed to get it back today because they found a few vacuum holes near the intake and oil/water seperator clogged with carbon. After cleaning them the car ran fantastic all the numbers were normal. But this morning when they went to drive the car, the transmission banged hard going into fourth and the CEL came right back on. They now believe that it is an electrical issue in the transmission and they requested the name/phone number of the previous owner, which I gladly gave them.

I just want to enjoy my car like it seems so many of you do but this is becoming borderline insane. Please fix my car!

I can relate, I was having some issue that the dealer finally found. They'll find it i'm sure.

Low voltage makes the A6 electronics go really haywire. I learned this on the day I bought mine. Made my tranny go into limp mode. Thought it was a sensor or something in the tranny, ended up being a bad alternator resulting in a discharged and dead battery

They said they tested the alternator and it was putting out the correct voltage
