But only settled for a silver one for considerable less money. I should have gone with my heart and not my head on that one. Great color and until I moved to Fl always had white Audis except once and that is a silver S6 also. White (not the pearl) is a better color for wear, accident repaint, looks clean most of the time and yes keeps car cooler and does not show scratches to the extent some other colors do. It is just a personal observation but, Alpine Weiss on old Audis looks pretty sharp and Casablanca White is sharper and probably only to be exceeded by the non metallic, non clear coat reds ( like Toranado) for depth of color and shine. Also up until the 30's the national race color for German cars was white, as France had blue, Italy Red etc. and then Hitler changed the white to silver.
