Default I have a set of 205/55/16 Blizzak LM22 tires.

I am considering putting them on my OEM two spoke rims and using them as winter tires on my A6 but am worried they are too small.

Stock size is 215/55/16. I think I'll lose about .3 inch of ride height, and I could deal with that, but how silly are 205/55 tires going to look? I kinda think the 215/55 look kinda small in the wheel well already.

Anyone have a picture of 205/55/16 tires on an A6?

Default isn't 205/55/16 the size of the wine glass wheel off a 2.8, for winter

that should be fine.. besides you want skinny wheels for the winter.

Default I'm not sure,, I sold a 2001 TT and these are the stock size winter tires off that car.

I bought a 2004 TT to replace the 2001 and it came with Conti Extreme All Seasons. I have read a lot of good stuff about the Conti's, and don't think it is worth it to switch the conti's for snow tires each fall.

My 2000 A6 does not have ESP and I think it would benifit it a lot by having snow tires. I drive the A6 about 75% of the time, and in the winter, maybe 90% of the time. I ran Eagle RSA tires on the A6 through this winter, and they work, but I know it gets better than that.

I want to get the A6 a nice quiet set of summer touring tires on some sharp looking rims, and use the 205/55/15 blizzaks on the stock 2-spoke rims on the A6 in the winter... will it work and look OK?

Default Right on... 205/55/16 is the size for wine glass wheels. I would...

eventually like to get 17" wheels this summer and save the wineglass wheels and skinnies for good ol' Iowa winter .

Default Forgive my ig'nance, but what are the wine glass wheels and how diff are they from the 2 spoke OEM's

I too would like to get new 17in rims & tires and put the 205/55/16's on my OEM two spoke "sport" rims.

Does the 205/55/16 size tire look better on the Wineglass rims?
