OK,
Not really, but I came close. I called Audi to see if they had the rearview mirror joystick in stock, they do, for a mere $74. I read on a link someone bought one from "Claire's"? Any suggestions for a cheaper alternative than Audi dealer? Thx!

They have generally been good for prices, but they are located near Boston, MA, so any money you save on the price might be lost when you pay for shipping.
Try another dealer, or a salvage yard. That sounds a bit steep. I thought they weere around $50 or so.

http://www.clairparts.com/</a

yes. i know it's an 'audi' and they are great to drive and i expect high (over) priced parts. however, for what you get, i'd expect the price point to be $40-$50 tops.....anyway, ebay is an option too also, thx.....
