I read them. I find Stern repugnant but he exists because...
...there is a thirst for knowing about what goes on in the underbelly of society. Crack addicts, prostitution, child abuse and even worse things. Stern is a middle man that builds wealth on the back of the abused, handicaped, mentally ill, etc.
He is repugnant but no more than others like Jerry Springer and the likes.
However people who chose to listen should not complain about their existence. I don't like them so I don't listen/watch. But if you chose to tune in then don't attack Stern.
As I said I find him repugnant but he exists because people tune in. If you don't like it and like to hear talk in the morning then get a book on tape from your public library.
Not being exposed to filth daily does not make it go away. But just because it exists I don't have to be exposed to it everyday. In the same way I know that people get murdered in DC everyday and I have no desire to know the details or see the photos of their brains on the wall.
Just my two cents.

It's great the Stern is exposing scum like this..
He's said alot of things the rest of the media won't say, even though a lot of it is true.
The first amendment is under attack by ayatollah Ashcroft and the FCC. Last time I looked there were dozens of radio stations on the dail. Nobody was forcing me to listen to Stern.

In all honesty, this is what happened...
I was trying to find a name. The thought of the saying "Never Follow" came to mind, so I wondered to myself about the name leaders. Popped it into an English/German translation page, and thats what it came up with. Yes it was ignorant of me to not research more in depth on the word, and after getting flamed repeatedly, I looked it up. I regret posting word in any way shape or form, let alone posting that name as a club name. I meant my apology with all sincerity, and if anyone would like to believe it whole hearted or not, it is entirely up to you. As for the s in my handle, I have been on the boards since a while back, '99, but stopped for a while when I got my 02 GTI, and shroomin has been a nickname of mine for a while. If the S really offends anyone, I will gladly change it. If anyone wants to hold a grudge against me, it is entirely your right to do so. I wanted to apologize to all of you because it was the right thing to do. And CEB, if you really want to believe that I am not being sincere, then you can believe whatever you like, I am not going to try to change your mind, you are entitled to your opinion, but it was a stupid decision that I regret making.
Once again, I am truly sorry for posting that, and for offending anyone.
