I was lowering my H&R coilovers last nite .....

when I realized that the 'ring adjuster' was positioned way too close to the wheel-shaft. (see pic). I still have about 0.5 inch of lowering tread left but i dare not go down that much (attempting it will make the ring to sit and press the shaft). Now, I believe i only have about 2-3 mm clearance from the ring to the shaft (vertically measured). Is this a concern? Any1 know about this? Comments pls.
PS: this is on the rear wheels, pic was taken on the passenger rear side. Thx u all.

Is that compressed or uncompressed?
If you put the weight of the car back down on it, does the clearance increase or decrease?
That is the question my friend!

It looks like the driveshaft is already rubbing (or am I seeing things) . . .
I believe Kris Hansen posted about a buddy's coilover setup where the perch rubbed the halfshaft which subsequently snapped on one side.

well, the pic u see was taken when the car's on the ground.
So ... what do you think. When the car is on the ground, the clearance between the ring and the driveshaft is only about 3 mm. What should i do?
