I 'm about to install 19" RS4's. Will 255-35-19 fit? What else is needed?

Default I 'm about to install 19" RS4's. Will 255-35-19 fit? What else is needed?

I am getting the RS4 9-spoke wheels 19x8 (ET35) with Continental Conti Sport Contact II tires 255-35-19 for my A6 4.2. Will everything that I have mentioned fit. I know that the correct size for the upgrade is 255-30-19 but I wanted more protection. Will I have any other issues as far as brakes, needing spacers, etc.?

with the 255/35/19, you're speedo will read 4% slower than actual speed. You sure you want this?

Default You're going to get the same response as everyone else asking about that size

It's not the recommended size. It's going to be much taller than the OE size and may have clearance issues with the front suspension at 35mm offset.

I went against the grain and used 245/35-19 tires to be a little closer to the stock aspect ratio. My wheels are 30mm offset with spacers and there is little room between the tire and suspension in front.

I would say, stick w/ 235/35's or maybe 245/35's at most

Default my thoughts exactly kim

that's what I was thinking too. Although, if he's got replica's they may not be as strong as a forged wheel. I wonder what the strength of those reps are? Could be a smart move as 30's would be risky on a weak rim.

The 4% ratio is not that bad. About 2.4 mile/hour difference going 60mph I believe. Anyways, I was wondering mainly if I need spacers. I don't really know the function of spacers. Also, I don't think it will rub. I have stock sport suspension. Any problems with my brakes or suspension?

Default spacers are meant to provide clearance from rubbing with other parts like brakes, suspension..35ET

will give you the right amount of clearance.
