Default I may sell my "new" C5

The car is in great shape and runs perfect, but I really am haing a hard time dealing with the anemic 2.8

Of course, I'm used to some fast cars, but I just want a daily driver that gets out of its way.

My B7 2.0T with APR tune is good for a daily driver, not fast (at least not to me), but has some zip and plenty of torque for a daily driver and some spirited driving.

Sadly, its a LOT quicker than my 2.8 C5, a LOT quicker.

I have to make extra time in the C5 when pulling out, becuase 1st 2nd gear is just awful, LOL.

So sad, such a gorgeous, well maintained car.
Meh, maybe I'll drive it a while......I got it for way under market value.

Audi: damn you for making the 2.8 an option in the C5

Default Good luck selling the "2 point late"

200 hp is not enough to adequately move a 4000lb vehicle. a 300hp 4.2 does a decent job

Default supercharger that sucker, or sell all three and get an RS4.

Daily Driver, Winter Beater, Race Car, Family car all in one.

Default Why would it be "slow"? That doesn't rhyme with 8. "Late" does.

The "2.slow" moniker is more commonly used to describe the Jetta 2.0.

Two. Point. Oh. (Slow). Get it?

The 2.8 wasn't an "option," it was the standard engine. Therein lies the rub.
