I need to remove my wiper arms to fix the leak that happens because the plastic plenum thingy at the bottom of the windshield is not seated properly.
I have the cover and nuts off of the wiper arm but the arms won't come off.
What am I doing wrong?
Any help is much appreciated.

I tried that but they don't budge...do i need to try turning the arms?
I'm afraid to use too much force for fear of breaking something.

ou can get one at sears or Autozone for less than $15.00. It has two arms which grip under opposing sides of the wiper arm. You wrench the center bolt down onto the center stud of the wiper pivot until POP! the arm come loose. This eliminates all the prying with screw-drivers which can also damage stuff.

I simply pulled it up high enough to get tip of RTV tube attachment in there, then ran a small bead down it. Dont forget to use a air hose (or manualy blow out) the dirt, leaves and junk that get in there. Then just pop it in and hold it down for a minute. Be careful though not to get the gunk on the window. Oh and take off the wiper blades, then with hood up, you can maneuver the arms up and out of the way. Good luck, that was just my method, worked fine.
