Don't be a whiner...just drive it, you can barely notice. Sorry man, maybe it would be best totaled?

Default Oooh! That's just not pretty:(

Good luck and make certain you follow up with a diminished value claim.

Default I know a good body shop in the bronx they will have that **** fixed for 500

you might even be able to haggle with that too
He said hed paint my rear bumper for 300 no joke but yeah that sucks alot i dont think it would be the same for 500 bucks.. but if they do total it and you can buy it back cheap and fix it for 500 bucks might not be a bad car for 15 grand no?

Default That will be a total loss. If the door gaps have closed up...

then it will have to be puluued on a jig and I would not want that on a car less than two years old.

It will have put small wrinkles in quite a lot of the internal panels and I would bet that the rear screen will leak now, or will start to leak after a while because it will have stressed the frame and possibly put stress marks into the rear of the roof.

The more you find, the more likelyhod of a total v/s repair outcome.

Good luck with the claim.

Question: "Seats reclined like they should". What do you mean? What happened?

I really hope it is totalled. Then I don't have the "diminution of value" issue down the road.

Default Agrees w/ everyone. I hope your ins. co. writes that off so you can get into a new Audi...

may I suggest an RS6? =) It seems you're okay though. That's the most important part.

Default Seat backs reclined during impact - some kind of friction release IIRC.

Not sure if they are single use items or not - body shop will check 'em out. BTW the power seat adjusters still work fine!
