Default Hey! That was MY idea! I thought of it FIRST!!! ;^)

That sucks big time. Who did YOU hit? Or were you at the head of the line ("Never follow")?

I am curious why you say "...the driver's seat reclined just like it's supposed to...". After my wife's accident, her seat was a little out of whack and I had never heard about the driver's seat absorbing impact, or anything like that. What do you know that I don't?

Not to upset you, but our car has been in the shop since March 5th.... (Slow parts from Audi, etc., etc., etc.) Supposed to get it back next week. What are the chances they'll get it all right the first time? :^(

Default Sad :-( Make sure you use a really good body shop that will pick out all the details

and move it to the totaled catagory (I assume that is what you want at this point?).

Darned trucks with tall bumpers! Looks like it hit the upper section of your bumper and then rode over it. I can only imagine what the car that started all of this must look like!

Default Have it TOTALLED. Dont let the body shop start digging into the job...

or they might hold the car hostage until they "finish the job".

Default Mine looked exactly the same 1 month after purchase by a

4x4 with 4 inch pipe for front bumper. No frame damage. Used a shop that the local audi club guys recommended. Looks great now. Good luck, biggest pain is driving a rental!
