I saw the RX-8 in person. It's a mess. Too bad. The concept is great.

I saw the RX-8 in person. It's a mess. Too bad. The concept is great.
I like the idea of a light, strong, 4 seater. But the styling doo-dads are absurd. In pictures it just looks curious. In person, it looks awful.

and guess what...Mazda overstated HP in the RX-8
just like they did in the miata...how conveinent.
i read that mazda is offering full refunds or a $500 gift cert and free scheduled maintanane through the life of the warranty.
I saw a yellow one yesterday and thought it was wierd looking...too bright yellow...
the red one in the commercials looks nicer IMO

I saw one this past Monday
It was red. I need another look at it. I didn't think it was bad, but I expected it to be more aggressive looking in person.
I also read something about oil usage, that can't be good.
I hope it doesn't hold it's value... I still want one.
