I seem to be having a common problem, can someone help narrow it?

Guys,
I've read posts all over from here to the bently forums, some of the other peoples problems seem close to what is going on with our A6, but they have extra codes being thrown off to help narrow the problem- I do not, or at least maybe someone can see something I'm missing.
What I thought initially was a transmission problem (jerking) has turned into an engine problem. The car is running very very poorly- and here is what I pulled off using a vag-com (while the engine was off):
Address 01: Engine
Part No: 4D0 907 551 AH
Component: 2.8L V6/5V MOTR AT D02
Coding: 06152
Shop #: WSC 02325
4 Faults Found:
16684 - Random/Multiple Cylinder Misfire Detected
P0300 - 35-00 - -
16685 - Cylinder 1: Misfire Detected
P0301 - 35-00 - -
16684 - Random/Multiple Cylinder Misfire Detected
P0300 - 35-10 - - - Intermittent
16685 - Cylinder 1: Misfire Detected
P0301 - 35-10 - - - Intermittent
Readiness: 0000 0101
I cleared the codes and started the engine.. nothing logged in terms of errors, but the car is running real rough and hunting at idle (cyl 1 maybe?). I also noticed the Lambda was -5.5%
Can someone help me narrow this down? I replaced the plugs and it ran PERFECT for 2 DAYS and now it seems worse! I'm closing on a house, can't really afford to take it in to the dealer- anything that I can do is pretty much the only choice right now.
Any help/opinions would be appericiated, or if your local- will be rewarded with beer.

You've done the plugs, have you since pulled them and looked at their condition? What about plug wires? Is it possible that the wires to cylinder 1 are exposed?
Try switching plug 1 with plug 2 and see what happens. Maybe you've got a bad plug there.

By wires, I mean the conductor between the coil pack and the plug...whatever they're called. :P Good luck.

I had a 2.8L V6 which ran rough as well which I finally diagnosed as a leaky fuel injector. To check, simply swap the suspect injector from one side of the engine to the other and see if the problem follows. It's not very difficult either, just a few screws and the fuel rail lifts out.
Good luck.

I had the exact same problem. Switch the #1 and the #3 plug wire. (switch both ends of the wire :--)) Then clear your codes and see if the misfire appears on the #3 cylinder. I actually replaced the iginition module first, because I thought I checked the resistance of the wires as per the Bentley manual and assumed they were ok. Plug wires were $6 each at the dealer.
