i recently bought 4 4.2 sport wheels from ebay.. i think i got a good deal, paid under $600. 3 rims had conti tires and the fourth one had a pirelli tire... i drove like this for a little while and i think maybe the one tire with the pirelli gripped too much making the differentials think i'm losing traction and sent power to the other wheels putting strain on the seals or something.

I was driving home and then i felt stuttering and then the car just wouldn't budge. I got out of my car... looked under my car and the rear differential was in pieces!!

AUDIWORLD.. WHAT DO I DO??!!

i had the usuals on the V... intake, retune, headers, exhaust and had a cam, retainers, valves and rods waiting to go in..... I had freaking HRE 841Rs too... but 3 of the 4 wheels were BENT!

my time is coming!! what will my next car be??? =)

HRE's look great, but I've heard far too many neg. stories. Seen the #'s Z06's are putting down?
