depends on your objective. More oil capacity is effective at lowering oil temps when the load is short-term, but not sustained. It also means more additives, slower shear, etc.
A cooler supports sustained loads. I have no quantitative knowledge of how well they work. bear in mind you need to route the oil to a location with good, cool airflow.
Overall it sounds like you are adding complexity. Your car already holds > 7 qts. What's the objective?

truth is that the 2.7, anywhere near stock power, is well lucubrated and durable.
Oil issues are local to turbos - not average oil temperature.
I supposed if it starts at a lower temp there will be some benefit.
Enjoy.

Probably do as well with more frequent oil changes.
AMSOIL has bypass oil filter setups.
On Audis it might be more difficult to install.
I've had the bypass oil filters on all my cars since 1973..EXCEPT for my 4.2 audis and the E46 M3. Just too difficult to install the bypass filter in crowded engine compartment.

then what would be your recommendation to improve issues related to iling at the turbo?? i figured any improvment in the system would benifit them
Sloop
dude i know, i keep looking at the engine and i keep thinking, where the hell am i going to fit this! haha. ill find something. gonna ditch the stock airbox and mount the ac condensor their to make room for my intercoolers

I presume thjat question is how to avoid coking of oil under high temps at the turbo?
Back to my comment before. Quick stomps into boost, or in it for the duration (e.g.: the track)? Big difference. I like the idea of more oil basically. More mass = more heat absorption.
If its hot, go to higher flash point, higher HTHS oil. Mobil 1 15w50, Castrol Syntec 20w50 have HtHS numbers above 4.4. No doubt sloopy will find an amsoil above that :-) probably true.
I frankly don't worry much. Good oil, with frequent changes yields good safety.
But int he rtack season, in a non-turbo car, i do raise my oil to a higher temp band, then i thin it out for the winter. Soudn like BS? No. I put in thick stuff, then drain 50% and replace with thinner (0w40, 5w30) for the winter. Not only is it colder, but i wont see any tracks.
In my Audi (S6, 4.2 2002), whcih sees few autoX and nearly (note word) no tracks, i use any good 5w40 that meets ACEA A3. I expect it will be good for 300,000 miles without incident. beyond my concerns.
Oil is an issue when people:
1. use grossly wrong or crap oil. You don't qualify
2. leave it too long. Remember too long is a F(x) of use
I very happily change my oil every year/<7500 with a good 5w40 HTHS 3.8+ and proceed.
For the record my last change was Shell rotella T6 5w40. Why? Cheap and good.

i used shell exclusively till autozone jacked up the price from 19.99 for a gallon to 27.99, when with valvoline premium blue non syn, has HTHS is like 6. something
, i think ill go with the remote oil filter with a double filter, increased capacity and slightly better filtration, its what the big rig guys use
also though about a seperate oiling system specifically for the turbos. but that is a whole 'nother can of worms
