Indicator lights flashing too quick...

Re: Indicator lights flashing too quick...
In most cases when they flash quickly one of the bulbs has burnt out. If I remember correctly it is caused by the flasher relay getting a different resistance (lower.) I would first replace the front bulb and see what happens. I have also seen where poor contacts between the bulb and socket cause the same problem.

With the same symptoms, the dealer first replaced the bulb, then...
replaced the bulb housing. They ended up having to replace the whole headlight assembly on my car. Unfortunately, this is a common problem on the A6. Thank goodness my car was still under warranty at the time, they said the headlight assembly (HID) costs $650!

That was dealer BS, all they did was replace a $6.50 bulb holder
mine started to flash fast, replaced the bulb-no success, replaced the plastic bulb holder- problem went away. Took 2 minutes. Good luck.

i don't think so because if your bulb holder loses its conection or has bad conection as result you are gonna have very high temperature that in some cases could cause head light assembly to melt and not to make proper conection even with new bulb holder.

I did this...
I tried replacing the bulb, no success; then I completely remove the plastic holder (light grey one), the others still flash at the same rate...did anyone replace the hazards relay? I mean...it really shouldn't be the housing...
