Default Injuries suffered when using the A6 stock widowmaker Jack

Hi Guys-

I am writing to see if others were injured when using the Audi A6 Widowmaker Jack.

If so, i would like to speak to you.

We have a client who lost a few fingers and i think if you contact me i may also be able to help you too.

Please send an email to todd@steinbrecherlaw.com for more information.

Thank you.

No trunk jack is perfect. If used per the instructions, they should be safe. People rarely read, more less follow, the instructions.

I suppose that's where you come in. To claim that idiots are a protected minority.

i disagree, they are a protected majority.

If you don't share useful info, please leave.

I officially offer my services to AoA to counter this sort of abuse of our legal system

how on earth could somebody loose fingers jacking up a car.....dont stick your fingers betwen the jack and then start raising the car. Says specifically DO NOT put any body part under the car or near the working parts of the jack. Sooo he did and its audi's fault and your trying to sue. Wow.....our legal system is ****ed

Default Really!

How many other car forums did you post this non-sense on too?

"Widowmaker Jack" LOL!....how about "Knuckle Buster Wrenches"
or knuckle headed people that do not read instructions.

Nice try. However, I've never had a problem when using this jack or others properly. The instructions are clearly written and quite useful. You don't really want a graduate mechanical engineer as a technical expert on this issue...Audi's jack is no worse than any scissor jack on the market and arguably better in terms of the way it slots into the body.

bottom line is that you dont use a spare tire jack to perform anything other then changing a SPARE TIRE!

LOL, where do I sign up?!?

I can see it now, "steinbrecherlaw.com GOLD PLATINUM FORUM SPONSOR" banners are in the works.

Thanks to mods for being cool-headed enough to leave the info up, in case there IS someone who has been injured. At least the OP took the time to select the exact forum for the model in question. This would certainly be the place to find injuries of that sort. In this case the input from the AW community seems counterproductive to the lawyer's case.

the problem with their forum is the typing is awful. All those 2-fingered participants can drive you nuts.
