Pre '02 2.8L and 2.7T it is impossible.

I have a 4.2 which have the same front grill size and shape. Compare it to yours and you will see that they have different shape than the 4.2/S6. I heard that even the hood is longer or something like that so you can't even replace your 2.8/2.7T hood with a 4.2/S6 'cause they are different.
BTW I don't have that little dealer plate in the front bumper anymore.

The 2002 3.0 and 2.7T have a split grille similar to the 4.2 and S6, but the engine compartnent is not enlarged. So, the grilles may or may not be the exact same size... This is why someone with a 2002 3.0 or 2.7T needs to visit me so we can test the parts for fit.

Before 2002, the 2.8 and 2.7T models had a single grille above the bumper... completely different design.
