Default Congrats! Do they warranty their work? Must be nice to have all pixels back...

...I had an intermittent pixel issue on mine, took a picture of the cluster with dying pixels, and got a new cluster under warranty ))

Nice to see that there is an alternative to a whole new cluster!

Default Looks great, but there is one error in your post...

You absolutely can drive with the cluster out. I drove for a few days with mine out to install chrome gauge rings (the epoxy I used to custom-fit a center "square" piece to the surround for the LCD readout took a few days to cure fully.) The only drawback is, no instruments of any kind. You need to be sure your car is in good working order, and that you have enough gas! On the upside though, it is really amusing to drive with a gaping hole full of bare steel and wire harnesses. I just figured I'd tell the cop my IP was stolen if I got pulled over, which I did not. Stay in the flow of traffic and you will be fine.

unless you have Immobilizer, then you cannot drive with cluster out

My car didn't have it, and I just pulled it out and drove...

^^ 2nd. Although there seems to be a rev. limiter or "valet mode" engaged.

Default Anyone ever use Modulemasters for these repairs?

They did my ABS module repair and it worked fine for 5 years until my B5 was totaled 5 weeks ago.

I picked up a 2000 Avant as a replacement and I need to get the dash cluster repaired. They quoted $75 to $150 depending on what needs to be done.
