amazingly enough audi was willing for me to sign the lease on my car, but when i called to get insurance quotes i was told $5500 per year so the car is in my parent's name and their insurance policy....the car is covered for any driver so if anything happens i'm fine...if the car has full coverage you can drive it without being on your mom's policy. its the same as it being on your policy and you give it to a friend to drive and they have an accident...the car is still covered....I check all this a while back and had two fender benders and couple of tickets with this set-up and no one ever said a thing
