Default Interior Lights--Where is the switch?

2001 A6 2.7T. All three lights on driver side which turn on when the driver's door is opened stopped working. (The one in footwell and both in the door.) Since all other lighting for other doors work and no separate fuse, I concluded this must be a switch problem. Only problem, I cannot locate the switch. No little push in thing in door jam. So, does anyone know where the switch is located and if so, how do I go about repairing/replacing? Thank you.

Default It's in the latch, and it's not a replaceable part.. You need a new latch, unless you happen to find

a broken wire somewhere. This will also confuse the hell out of your alarm by the way.
