So I have had all kinds of small changes and upgrades since I last updated this thread. I added the PLX DM100 OBDII gauge system with boost module. That showed me I do not have a tune on the car at all so that prompted a call to 034 Motorsports. I have one of their new hand held tuners on the way with a 93 and 100 octane tune in it and tomorrow I will pull the TCU to send it to them for the trans tune after I get my baseline dyno run tomorrow.
I am bringing it to a Mustang AWD dyno and requested HP and TQ numbers as well as A/F. The gauge can data log timing, IATs and boost peaks so i can have a full picture of what is going on.

I also replaced the front speakers with some phenomenal Italian AD speakers. they sent me the wrong mids by mistake so I have them kinda ghetto mounted for now but they sound fantastic. Also added in a third amp dedicated to the subwoofer so the McIntosh amps can concentrate on the mids/highs only.
Also got in some trim pieces that were bugging me like the scratched up mirror switch bezel and door lock buttons as well as the steering wheel badge.

Car has been kicking *** though and has only been taken down by a 612rwhp blown 2012 Mustang GT. I think that may change next weekend though.
Cant wait to see what she does on the 100 octane tune. I am probably going to become a VP retailer so I am going to order a couple barrels of their 109 thats safe for cats and O2s. Should allow me to mix with 93 pump at a 50/50 ratio and see 100+ octane with no problem.

Got the baseline runs done today. Run one did 374hp and 377 tq, second run did 388 hp and 367 tq. Both runs the car ran 11.8psi and by the 3rd and 4th run the computer pulled the max boost down to 9psi which is the stock limitations. That gave me a true number of 336 whp and 353.5 wtq.
ECU is now getting remapped and the TCU is in route to be redone at 034 Motorsports. Should run 18 psi when done. Its a bit lean on the top end where it goes to 13.1:1 A/F. Thats with a tailpipe sniffer and with the high flow cats an exhaust which I think may be causing the little bit of lean on the top end.

I had forgotten to update this thread. After the new tune it did 443hp and 462tq at the wheels. Tune stays nice and fat all the way till redline. But I want moar!!!

So I went in depth with my next tuner on goals and spoke to some trans places today to see what an auto can really handle and it seems my plans will not be met. Gonna have to settle on 600ish awhp if I wish to remain auto and I do wish to remain auto. At least it seems attainable with bigger fuel pumps and injectors plus doing all the charge cooling mods with meth on pump gas. As long as I am not doing drag strip launches it seems that a built trans will probably hold that power number.
I love the car to death though and dont want to get rid of it so I will be content with those numbers. Maybe down the road I will be more willing to put a stick in it and shoot for another 100 horses but for now i have come to terms with what is feasible. Yeah a CTSV can make more power easier but my club has 6 of them and I like to be different. LOL

But because i love looking at her I figured I would try some HDR shots. Just love to look at this car.

Glad to see it again! I just Love that car!!
Heck at the rate your going with the HP gains you should be looking at a MT-6 trans-plant "All Fun Intended".

So I got bored at work and did a thing today. I really wanted some clear corner headlights but the widebody ones with HIDs are just freakin nuts at $3000 a pair. Saw a couple threads about how to remove them without peeling the headlights apart which is something I really didnt want to do for fear of cracking my relatively nice lenses and I didnt want moisture issues as I have never been able to properly reseal a headlight. Dunno why. I can epoxy a screwdriver to my hand just fine. LOL I also didnt want to drill a hole to break the tab on them as i would still have a hole to seal. So I went at it with my arsenal of tools and was able to grab it through the hole and snap it in half. I then used small cutters and broke off one small bit after another until there was no more amber.

Now I was planning on ordering a pair of chrome 3457A bulbs for it. They are just chrome until they illuminate and then they are blood orange. Since I have to order them I just slapped a pair of 3157 clears that I keep in stock. Well I noticed when I got home that they blend in perfectly when off but they appear to illuminate with a yellow tint. More so when flashing. Being tail/brake lights they are bright when they flash which I kinda like since nobody ever seems to pay attention to your signals anyway. LOL
I may just keep them.

I also lucked out yesterday. I had noticed its been about 17k since the plugs were changed and my tuner says 15k on a modded RS6 is when they should be done and that they need to be at .026 instead of .032. Well nobody in town had the NGKs in stock but one of my vendors said he had a special deal he could do me on Denso plugs. So I looked it up and it seems many run the Denso TT Double Platinum plugs and they perform just like stock. Knowing I get a healthy discount at that vendor I figured more off was a bonus so I just said send me 8 of them without asking price. When they arrived and i saw the bill I had to call him to make sure he didnt screw up. Nope, just a thanks for all my business. So I tuned it up for $7.42! LOL
Glad I did it too because whoever did the last set was very limp wristed. I do several tune-ups a week. I know how much force needs to be exerted to break a plug loose. Well the first three on the passenger side didnt need a wrench. Took a little force on 2 of them but I unscrewed them like I was using a screwdriver. One of them was so loose that I thought I just wasnt getting the socket on it. Cant believe it didnt throw it out of the head like a Ford would. The remaining 5 I didnt have to grab my spark plug ratchet by the handle, just twisted it from the head and they all slipped right out. This is a spark plug ratchet for those that didnt realize there is a difference:

So I gapped the Densos to .026 and installed them to proper spec. Great thing is that got rid of the cold start exhaust leak I would hear for 2-3 seconds but could never find because it stopped so quickly. Was that damn loose plug. Also helped get rid of the slight boost fluctuation when at half throttle and pushing 18psi. Argh. Thats why only I am allowed to touch my car. LOL
Old plugs didnt look too bad and were gapped at .028 so at least they knew to tighten the gap for the higher boost. The darker one is the one that was loose in its hole.
