i makes a HUGE differenence. thats like asking is water flow quicker through an open nozzel or though a manifold with a bunch of turns and different outlets. water will flow quickest through the path of least resistence , thats why ITBs have better flow rates

I'm not going to say there is no difference, but again, the biggest benefit of ITB's is responsiveness. If your aim is to run WOT all the time forced induction is going to be the better choice.
