Default I bought most of the techs lunch about a year ago

All of them call me by name and come into the waiting area to say hi when my car is in the bay. I never worry about asking stupid questions and I can bring up the slightest problem and it's fixed immediately.

Best $75 I ever spent on cars.

Default Re: I like the current dealership that I'm getting serviced at...

Too bad Mercedes (and BMW) quality and reliability is now tied with Volkswagen quality and reliability for being the worst out there. Significantly worse than Audi quality and reliability (which is nothing to brag about either, BTW).

However, Audi quality, reliability and service, while still far from Toyota and Lexus, has improved significantly over the past few years.

This is all based on feedback and reviews from owners of all of these German brands on websites such as msnautos.com, yahooautos.com, edmunds.com, AudiWorld, Roadfly, MBWorld and VWVortex. It is also based on what I recently saw in Consumer Reports. For each individual model from each of these German brands, anyway.

Default my C has been with me for 2 months....

0 problems, great build and materials.

beats the avant with 2 visits during it's 2 months.

beats my old 03 with 6 visits in 2 months.

beats my Toyota 4 Runner that needed its cats replaced due to a stink issue.

Audi might be improving quality--didn't sound that way from Car & Driver's long term C6, but its dealer network still sucks, along with its resale value.

But then again, I have bad luck no matter what. 8 ^)
