jammers

Anyone familiar with the effectiveness of "laser jammers". Are they for real or just hype? How involved is the installation? Any info would be helpful.

Consumer editions pure hype. Car and Driver did an article some time ago.

Re: at best you could use a coating that dispersed the laser beam when it hits your car..

To reduce the amount of reflected energy returned to the police laser. Actually sending back another laser pulse that you generated to spoof the police laser would be difficult and cost lots of money....
