Default Just finished doing control arms and tie rods. Again.

2 times a charm!

Thanks to Kris Hansen for his very helpful tips on his site for this job. Also the torque specs :=)

Found a soon-to-be-bad CV boot, as well. Oh well, the car feels new again! Yay!

FWIW, went with a Febi kit this time. Appears to be a higher quality kit. Came with all of the necessary hardware, too. Time will tell, I guess!

Where does one find the "Febi kit"? Any exper. w/the Meyle kit from ECS? Thanks.

Pure Motorsports. The Meyle kit from ECS lasted me 35k miles

Default The B5 S4 guys are saying that the Meyles are going bad after 6 months...

FWIW, my tech refuses to use them. He says that he sees them go bad on a regular basis.
