Officers must like the S-Line
I was pulled over on the Baltimore beltway for doing 85 in a 55. I guess he missed my peak speed. Anyway, it was night and I thought I had a cling-on, but it was a cop. Bad luck? He pulled me over. He asked me if I knew he was following me. I said not until I saw his lights. He then asked me if I knew the speed limit. I said somewhere between 55 & 65. He asked me where was I going in such a hurry. I said home. He said he was going home too. Then he said 70 was the upper limit for the beltway driving, but 85 is asking for trouble. I apologized. He said take it easy on the way home. THANKS!!!
Today, I was doing 60 in a 40 on a two-lane, a cop coming towards me motioned for me to slowdown. I waited until I passed him, & then hit the brakes so he could see I was complying. I didn't want to push my luck.
I don't know if all Audi's are this lucky, but so far so good. That said, now I'm DOOMED.

You were very lucky indeed..and smart (honest) I find that honesty works best with NJ Troopers-->
they know that the NJ interstates are perfect for speeding, and that the 65 mph limit is universally ignored in the Garden State. Be honest and it usually works to your advantage.
