Just picked up my RS6

I have been battling with my small annoying A8L early production issues. A customer at my dealer backed out of their deal on an RS6 and with the price they gave me for the A8, and the $2500 discount on the RS6 it was hard to say no. I have had a number of sporty cars in the past, but this is the first that actually has a usable rear seat, has a comfortable ride, and is also blisteringly fast.
The car is a blast to drive so far, and even my wife likes it(unlike the Porsches I have had in the past).
I hope this board is as helpful as the A8 one was. So I suppose as Chronicteutonic says goodbye, I say hello, having done exactly the opposite of him.

You suffered through a demanding situation and IMO made the right move. I think the A8 needs a few months of production under it's belt to make the cars reliable enough to make ownership worth while.
I'm taking delivery of an RS6 this month. After an extended drive in a new A8L I've decided to keep the RS6 for a few months of adrenaline pumping excitement before I move on to an A8L.
