K-mac camber adustment kit seems almost too good to be true?
Take a look here:
http://www.k-mac.com/
then click on Audi, and go to the front camber/caster kits. Can it really be that easy/cheap to reduce my horrible -2.1deg front camber and save my tires?
I probably lost a good 5000mi on my tires due to too much camber for my relatively sedate driving. Hey, if I was at the track I'd love it, but I'm not and don't love it.
The adjuster I was used to before was adjustable and cost quite a bit more. Feedback welcome here, thanks.

and don't be an idiot like me and look down at the shipping/handling table for pricing hahaahah. Whoops, I guess the price at $320 is around what it was the last time I looked.

Currently use them on my BMW M Coupe
The BMW uses a semi-trailing rear suspension which is non-adjustable from the factory. This is not really a problem until you lower the car which is when the camber goes way negative. The K-Macs have allowed me to dial in some toe while keeping camber at a reasonable level.
The only problem I had was the bolts getting a little loose over time. This allowed the settings to change slightly, but I never found the bolts so loose as to the point where they would fall out. To remedy this, I have employed Nyloc nuts and a dab of loctite, once the proper setting has been achieved of course.
Also, they do seem to require periodic lubing to keep them squeak free. The interval seems to be ~25K mi. in my experience.
Other than that, they work great. A relatively low-buck way to adjust things that are not normally adjustable. Thumb-up from me.

I would think these would be easier to adjust...(never mind the price)
These are the CPP adjustables from Achtuning (hartmann) for $765. I would think they would be much easier to deal with adjustments.
The K-Macs would have to be pressed into existing control arms. sounds like PITA!!

Must be the added weight of 4 doors - TT's and GTI's run kmacs w/o
any issues all the time. Search the TT Forum or Vortex and you'll find thousands of users (basically anyone who's dropped their car) with no issues at all with kmacs. You've piqued my interest though and I'm going searching because I would have said kmac was dead solid reliable and cheap relative to fully adjustable arms based on my experience.

Or at eurocode, for less. Nice pieces.

2nd...great product on my TT...I have coilovers and dropped nearly 2" before that...
I would lose the inner tread because even with tie bars there was not enough adjustment for toe.
I'm not sure how A6's go but I would assume that tie bars would be enough unless you are dropping the car really low as well?
