KENDALL FULL SYNTHETIC OIL....
My local tech uses Kendall synthetic for his oil changes...any feedback on this oil switch for my 2001 2.7T - I have no idea what oil the previous owner used.

Re: just pick one and stay with it...you will be fine...FWIW, I have used mobil 1 5w-30 for 5 years

Stick with what's approved and you'll be fine.

looks like 502.00 is available and 505.01 is a diesel standard.
502 series....Castrol Syntec 5W-40, Mobil 1 0W-40 & Kendall Synth. look like the most readily oils available to us.

I use Castrol 5w-30 because there's no 5w-40 to be had in N. Cal. It's what the dealer recommende. Where do I get 5w-40? even though 40 is unnecessary for Cal.
