if i had a stick the upgrade would not be an issue I would just do it. I'm just not sure the ko4s would be worth spending the extra cash on if I had to limit the output and don't know if I would be willing to spend that much money on a 2000 w 65k

O.CT Ko4's spool up almost like K03's. With stock programming the car had just a little more lag. Car breathed better mid to high end.
Car was much smoother with the K04's. Just seem to fit the big car better than the K03's which always seemed like they were nervous, wanting to jet around , where the K04 seems smoother.
More efficient like you said. With stock boost they put out a little more ummpphh than the k03's.

in fact bumped it to 1 bar from the .9 bar.
Also had Marcus (O.CT) lower the rev limit to 7000rpm from 7300 rpm. More compatible with the giac tip software.
Guessing the car is now about a 13.0-13.4 runner. It is seeing 4.96's 0-60's.
Will have to take it out to Fontana and get some times. If I were to bet I would say 13.3-1.34 there, it stinks as a drag strip. Headwinds usually and 1100' alt and usually warm. But it cold here now so need to give it a try.
The main thing about the K04's is the mid to upper range. The car really moves 3rd gear and 4th in now the power gear. It will run down a E46 M3(very close). It did so at Buttonwillow.
Funny but a chipped K03 car feels faster, but with the K04's it is so smooth you just dont think your moving out.

And this for K04's

You have put a lot of hard runs on your transmission and it's encouraging that it's still in one piece. I can't wait to rejoin the ranks of the chipped.
