late aft poll given 'below': what was your first car?
At 16 I inherited an 81 olds cutlass supreme...stalled making left turns on cold mornings and had a horrible hesitation if stomped on!...but I washed and waxed that sucker till the 'sea green' was a mirror!

2000 Honda Prelude type S, purchased it when i was 20 yrs old.
Traded her in last year for the 4.2. Why? Cause i felt like getting a new car. Was there anything wrong with the car? No, ONLY issue that i had in the 5 yrs of owning it were the window guides, otherwise, no problems whatsoever. I miss her...

'67 Mustang....
My grandfather gave it to me for helping him at the gas station/garage when I was a kid. By the time I was old enough to drive it, it had been the "gofer" car at the station for a few years, was filthy, the frame was rotten, the floors were rotted out, etc.
My first task was to cut the entire front of the car off and weld on the front of a 68 cougar, then replace all the floors, then the carpets, then rebuild the transmission, the rearend, and the engine. It took me the better part of a year to get it looking and driving nice enough to become a cheerleader hauler.
When I went to college, my parents sold it to a kid who totaled it a week later. Sigh....
