One comment on the thermostat from Blau. The last time I got a kit from them with the "free thermostat", it didn't have the little brass bleeder nipple/air escape.
I called them to discuss and the response I got was that "all of them are coming to us like that". That may be but it didn't make me comfortable so I grabbed a Behr thermostat for $20 from someplace else.
