My guess is that the H7 bulbs live longer than H1 or it's a packaging issue with the reflector. Cars with bi-xenon HID don't light up the H7 high beam bulbs on high beam...they only light to flash. MY 2K 4.2A6 has H7 high beams...the HID is always on low. The S6, OTOH, has bixenon and yet the high beam is still H7.
