Default Battery not covered under CPO...

It is a normal wear and tear item

Is anyone suprised by this?

Low voltage causes al sorts of nasty things. Replace battery and see what you have.

Default Thnx. Just wanted to see if this seemed odd or if normal...

sounds like problem will be solved with the new battery, but just in case, heading to friendly neighborhood VAG-king (a/k/a grapeking) for a quick VAG COM check of codes.

Default Re: Thanks Tom...

I have to say, it's nice to know it's not only my car that did this...I know that's not what you want to hear but...

Anyway, I had my battery replaced, but still had to have the alternator rebuilt. Dealer did it at their cost since it was day I bought the car. I hope you can get some kind of coverage on it if you have to.

Keep an eye on your voltage gauge so you don't run into a high voltage situation causing more problems

I'm hoping it'll just be the battery on yours.

Tom
