Little engine timing help...

2.7T.
Timing belt off, valve covers off, cam sprockets removed, cams at TDC each head, crank lock in.
Replaced cam tensioners (only removing intake cams too). Everything is great with cam bar in, marks between cams on each head are perfect (16 rollers also).
Put timing belt on with cam sprockets only spinning axialy, by the book.
Belt tensioned, cam sprockets tightened, etc. Removed crank lock tool.
Spin engine three times, plugs removed, feels great, cams timed perfectly after rotation.
Re-insert crank lock for sanity. Now need to put a little twist on right cam to get cam bar aligned, and this is putting a little slack in the belt between cams. I Don't like it.
1) Should I pull cam sprockets and retension belt?
2) This engine spins clock-wise looking at it from the front ya? (I just assumed by the position of the tensioers ((just checking)).
Doing silicone heater hoses while I think...
