Default Looking to buy a 00 2.7T

with ~63,000 miles. Should I be worried about the miles? What else should I be looking out for?

Thanks

Default There's a couple of people here selling their 2.7T...

w/ waaay less miles than that (about half that many miles). Heck, even I'm considering selling mine that I just bought in June '03. I'm crazy, but I'm thinking of getting a new 4.2. Gotta still discuss that w/ the Mrs. =)

But if you're set on buying that car, make sure the major service was done (about 60K mi.) and have the car inspected by a tech, too (preferrably at an Audi dealership).

Seems that most 2000's were either very reliable or "buggy". Mine, luckily, is the very reliable one. Regardless I made sure that I purchased a comprehensive extended warranty that covers me until 90K miles.

If you're interested I'm starting to think about selling mine for a newer car. Let me know and I can give you the details.

Cheers,
-DJ

Default Check label inside drivers door. If it was built in early 2000 or late 1999...

... I would be more careful. Early ones had issues. On that note, I would absolutely get an Audi dealer to run the full maintenance record so you can see what kind of issues the car has had.

Default Call Audi of America with the VIN, 800-367-2834

they will tell you everything they can about an Audi you are thinking about purchasing.
