I have my OEM Avant springs for sale, in Avant the rear springs are stiffer to compensate for cargo. I am local too, just throwing this out there in case you can't find sedan OEM springs for sale.

your logic is good, but i still find it odd that springs sagged. They very rarely do.

I've run audis nearly 300k with stock springs.

Agreed, its not like the body is down to the floor. I still have wheel well gap (probably around 3" overall) -- its just that the rear is riding lower then the front height. Thats is what makes me think they need to be replaced.

If anything the rear's should be higher then the front since its suppose to carry a load.

maybe i'm just crazy or over-analyzing it too much...

i'll try to grab a photo of the car, so at least some other can have a look -- definitely dont want to spend more money then needed.

My Avant looks the same, and we have the same color!

I envisioned the rear of the car sagging down as if fully loaded with cargo.

ehh... ok, that settles it -- I guess its just an optical illusion. If i wanted to be really **** about it I could measure the ground clearance of the front and back. However, if yours looks the same... then thats fine me....

can direct that limited dough towards something else... like two ultra expensive catalytic converters... :-(

se la vie...

Let's get objective. I just went and put a level (ok, ok, an iphone) on the door sill where it is flat. The bubble was more of less centered. Is yours? Of course, you must be on a level (poured concrete) surface to do this.

Interesting...I used an iPhone clinometer app (bubble) and it came up within .1 degree of the floor reading.
