Default Lower temp thermoswitch for A6 after-run system

I've seen it written that ECS has a low temp thermo-switch, but don't see it in their catalog. Anyone know if they have it, or where else to get it? Thanks.

Default It seems they think only s4 b5 guys are interested in this part...

Select the s4 / b5 and search for "after run"

I used one from a VW Vanagon. I can't remember the part number, though.

Save yourself the trouble and buy a new retainer clip while you're at it.

Default Yes. Afterrun thermoswitch is different from the thermostat

It controls at what temp the afterrun pump/fan operates when you shut off ignition. Provides coolant to turbos - good.

Afterrun pump will also go bad quicker...

Without the lower temp thermoswitch, the pump/fan will never run after car turned off - setpoint is TOO high...
