MAF fix worked for me

My CEL came on so I took it in for service. They said it was the MAF that caused it and it would cost about $220 to replace it including labor. I knew about the alcohol rinse fix so I said "I'll pass for now". I brought it home, took the MAF off, washed it in a bag with Isopropyl alcohol, reinstalled it, and no CEL now for 2 weeks. It's such an easy fix! Just be patient with it, don't tough the filament inside the sensor, and make sure it dries thoroughly before you reinstall it!

Stock air filter. In some of my previous cars, I used a K&N. Now with my current cars, I tend to shy away from them because the small perofrmance gain to me is not worth the risk of fouling up my MAF sensor.
