Default MAF plug differences ?

I have order new MAF for my 99 Audi A6 2.8 V6 got it today, but found that new MAF has 4 pin connector, and my old has 3 pin, the part # are identical on both MAF,
is there another part# that might help me get the right MAF

Default I believe the MAF changed mid-year. Did you use your VIN to order the part?

Call your dealer and give them your VIN, they'll get you the right one. Unfortunately, electrical parts are not returnable, so you may be out of luck with the old one. Unless, of course, you did use your VIN to order it... then they'll probably take it back since it is their error.

Default yeah, Audi changed the part mid-year for the 99s, so it IS a VIN-specific part

i got mine at the dealer for $76 iirc, my indy changed it for $10... can't beat it :-P

18 months or so? My dealer didn't even stock new ones (too $$)-- rebuilt only.
