Man that aux fan siren noise is driving me nuts. And Whooshing sound followup
Its real loud now, its irritative, annoying and embarrasing.
The whooshing air sound I reported earlier, either a vacumm leak or TBB went south, turned out to be a hose had disconnected. THey fixed that, but today getting whooshing sound again.
The sunroof parts are in, but they can't work on it for another 2 1/2 weeks. Well maybe in 3 weeks the aux fan will be fixed, sunroof finally repaired and the air whooshing sound fixed. Just bad luck lately. Still love to drive the car though.

Get it replaced, mine will be done on Monday. They said it is seizing up. For the first time ever, today I saw my temp go above 1/2 way with the AC going full blast in 100° weather - parked.
I don't know why the hell they didn't put a proper shroud around the belt-driven fan, it is practically useless and only makes noise! :-(<p><a href="http://registry.audiworld.com/audi/registry/details.asp?car=5325">

The fan isn't really integrated, I've considered an aftermarket fan... Workable?
