Default MD/VA/DC area bodyshop?

So, in the mess that was hurricane Isabel last weekend, my neighbor's chimney cap blew off and landed on my A6. It didn't do much damage - just a nice 2" diameter dent right at the corner of the front fender where it meets the headlight. I'm thinking that now this gives me an excuse to take the car into the body shop and see if I can have a few other little door dings (paintless dent removal, perhaps), etc. taken care of as well. Does anyone know of a reputable body shop in the MD/VA/DC area? I'm in northern VA, just across the river from DC.

On a happier note, I got a call from Audi of Alexandria today. It seems my new set of C-navi CD's has finally arrived... hot off the presses with a new update!

Default I recommend Kesterman Foreign Car Service (Alex, VA)

I've used them extensively the last 2 years for repair work, and recently for body work (lots of DC door dings, etc.) They are top notch.

They are in Alexandria (near the power plant), I wonder if the Hurricane impacted their shop, since they are near the water.....

Default Re: MD/VA/DC area bodyshop?

I had a relatively happy experience with the Volvo body shop (Tischer Volvo) in Silver Spring on Route 29 at the auto park (Briggs Chaney and Route 29). They got the left front fender exactly right color wise which was a fairly tough match on a 2000 4.2A6Q, melange metallic.

One caveat...they lost the three lower mounting screws for the wheel inner liner and it took about two weeks for audi to special order the wrong ones, only for the parts person to find them (torx 25 pan head metric metal screws) in a draw of assorted fasteners. So pay attention.

Default Wagonworks on Route 1 south of Crystal City.

We have had work done there on two occasions. They are excellent.

Default Highly recommended...

They've done repair work on 3 of my cars and restoration paint, etc., on my '73 911. Not the cheapest or the fastest, but definitely one of the best IMO.
