My reactions are:
The interior is really sweet - (heretical statement to follow) and will give Audi something to think about on that point.
The car is VERY solid feeling, and handles securely, if a little inertly (is that a word?).
It's quiet and smooth.
It's not as quick as you might think. The car I drove only had 67 miles, so was very tight, but the torque just isn't there, at least compared to the 2.7T.
The lack of a fold-down rear seat is a great decision from a chassis-stiffness standpoint, but a really bad decision (IMO) from a consumer standpoint.
Overall, it's WAY more solid and upscale-feeling than the outgoing model, and is better looking (or at least less generic) and despite the higher pricing, I think it will sell well.
