Default Yeah, what's with this 'snout' thing from the Japanese this year?

Nissan, Toyota, Mits all are using plastic/sheetmetal on the front end.
Fugly!

Default Thanks LMG...it's even uglier in person...very awkward looking...

the Aztek looked "balanced" in comparison...

Saw a guy driving an Aztek this am, & was wondering if he knows that people call it an a$$tek.

Default when I first saw the commercial, I thought it was a new Mitsubishi...

no doubt it'll sell well, though.

Default Beauty's in the eye....

...as you know.

My reactions are:

The interior is really sweet - (heretical statement to follow) and will give Audi something to think about on that point.

The car is VERY solid feeling, and handles securely, if a little inertly (is that a word?).

It's quiet and smooth.

It's not as quick as you might think. The car I drove only had 67 miles, so was very tight, but the torque just isn't there, at least compared to the 2.7T.

The lack of a fold-down rear seat is a great decision from a chassis-stiffness standpoint, but a really bad decision (IMO) from a consumer standpoint.

Overall, it's WAY more solid and upscale-feeling than the outgoing model, and is better looking (or at least less generic) and despite the higher pricing, I think it will sell well.
