Ming2.7... do you have just the eibach springs or do you have upgraded shocks as well?

I'm refering to this post a month back

I know it's recommended to replace both springs and shocks to get a lowered stance, but there are people who've been fine with stock shocks and just lowering springs.. I'm just putting my feelers out there.

I am not as racey as others are. I have 63k now, had the eibachs since 4k, same ol stock shocks hanging in there. THey could be tired but I dont plan to change em for another 15-20K at least.
And when it comes time I may again put on 'new' stock shocks.
Here is the setup at Infineon Raceway, Eibach Springs, Stock Shocks, H-Sport Sways. Does fairly well on the track. That is a very tight turn.

The stance on your car looks very nice. How does the ride feel on the street? I am getting an A6 2.7T and am considering all options for lowering the car. Is the ride stiff? I don't want a jarring ride. I have a Jetta with Nuespeed sport springs and koni adjustables that I consider to be too harsh.

My opinion and this is coming from a non sport car person, was the springs lowered the car to an acceptable ride height and was still comfortable even with 235/40-18's. THe ride was nice, on the track it still was slow side to side, not to floaty. Was a good setting for me. Added PSK rear sway bar and still ride was good and better side to side. Added H-sport front and rear sways, very good side to side, still decent ride but it did get firmer. Now after 59k miles on the springs, maybe a little floaty, still decent ride. In fact DWP drove it with the current setup, said it was stiffer than his sport setup.
ALot recommend doing both the springs and shocks, or getting a coilover set up.
Ride is a personal feel, and what is soft to one person maybe harsh to another. TOo bad your not out here, you could try it out for yourself. Orange County, Ca

Ming, where did you get the alignment specs after you put the eibach springs in ?
I am getting ready to put the eibach prokit on my 4.2 and I don't want them to screw up the alignment

had the sport suspension option, but didn't do it for me...upgraded to KW V1's, floatiness gone...add h-sports and car no longer drives like a pig...=)
