...there was a soft (aluminum?) pipe that snapped off the bottom of me ride. It was about the diameter of a sharpie pen and ran from the front drivers side, all the way to the rear somewhere. It was dragging, so I tugged and it snapped off. No leaking of any sort, the tube if you will seemed hollow and useless, but I just want to be sure what it is for. Any ideas?
Cars still driving the same, and performs as expected, but better safe then sorry.
Thanks, good morning <yawns>

???
Seems strange that there would be something that had no use in that location. I understand that there is often prewire and connectors for options not included on a particular car but this particular one seems odd.

BostonDriver is going to take a pic of his 4.2 for us to view. Perhaps someone else will be able to identify the tube.
I should update, its probably one foot in from the outside of the sideskirt and not directly under the skirt.

picture is looking up at the underside of car about even with the driver door, driver side of car to the left of the photo, front of car to the bottom of the photo.

picture is also looking up the underside of car closer to the wheel well, front of car to the bottom of the photo.
Anyone know what these are for???
