I heard about the Toyota sludging issue after researching that problem for my Saab
Which is apparantly not as big a deal with Saab as it is with Toyota.

I almost feel my new 4 Runner is as luxo as my old A6....
rides, accelerates, & brakes better.
But I still like the avant.

and they can keep their Jap cars, not of them really impress me........
the new Lexus looks like they took the back of an E-class and the front of a 6 series and welded them together.

I had a Toyota when those problems arose. Mostly it was extended service intervals and bad PCV.
Not unlike the 1.8T sludge problem.
